Attorney Jason Beardsley was born and raised in the Northeastern corner of Pennsylvania. Attorney Beardsley is a tremendously hard worker which stems from having grown up on a dairy farm in Susquehanna County and beginning work at an early age.
Prior to returning to practice law in his hometown of Montrose and the surrounding area, Jason was a McKelvey Scholar at Slippery Rock University located in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, and he attended Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in Cleveland, Ohio.
During law school, Jason handled cases in his school's employment law clinic. While there, Jason gained hands on experience in litigation by, among other things, representing clients in employment discrimination and unemployment matters. Jason's cases involved unemployment hearings, administrative appeals, and discrimination charges and mediation before the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission (EEOC). Based on his outstanding work and dedication to his clients, Jason was named the "2011-2012 Outstanding Clinical Student of The Year," a national award presented by The Clinical Legal Education Association.
Following taking the Pennsylvania Bar Exam in July of 2012, Attorney Beardsley worked for former Pennsylvania Attorney General Attorney Ernest D. Preate, Jr. During his time with Attorney Preate, Attorney Beardsley was exposed to a broad array of legal issues and problems, greatly augmenting his experience with criminal law, family law, and general civil litigation.
Attorney Beardsley's practice based in Susquehanna County, Wyoming County, Bradford County, Lackawanna County, and the surrounding counties in Northeastern Pennsylvania now focuses on various areas of employment law, family law, criminal law, and general civil litigation at both the state and federal levels.
